King’s University

College students, science laboratory, classroom.
Edmonton’s Christian University, serving to build a more humane, just, and sustainable world.

Why King’s?

Awesome relationships are at the heart of what we do. Students have opportunities to
know professors and mentors by name and work closely with them. You will also make
lifelong friends through unique experiences – all while getting an education that helps
bring healing and renewal to any field of work.

We Love Where We Live

Edmonton is a place where people take risks and start new things. This city started the
first food bank in Canada and numerous global corporations. It’s famously home to big
things in North America such as its largest mall, fringe theatre festival, and
interconnected stretch of urban parkland.

Christ-Centered Community

You matter and belong here. We strive to provide students with opportunities to grow in faith, celebrate through worship and prayer, serve neighbours, and connect faith with learning. In addition, there are plenty of ways to get involved with Campus Ministries on campus and throughout the city!

Practicums & Internships

King’s programs are known for hands-on experiences and built-in research and internship opportunities. For example, our Education students spend a total of 18 weeks in classroom practicums! Conduct lab projects, work in the field, or help professors with research and scholarship—many of our students are academically published!

Program Highlights

With 34 disciplines to choose from, students can graduate with a Bachelor of Arts, Science, Commerce, Music, or Education from a university that cares deeply about faith. Programs expose students to new ideas and classes are taught by award-winning professors who reflect the love and grace of Jesus.

The strong writing, editing, and research skills that I honed under my professors’ watch provided me with an invaluable foundation to enter law school.”  —Taylor Noble, B.A. English ‘18
